A Great and fun mental routine for children as well as adults!
You bring a spectator forward and place him or her with his back to yourself and the audience so that they cannot see (or have them blindfolded) what you are doing. You then open a box and take out a prediction for what will happen later, namely a big stuffed MONKEY animal. The monkey goes back into the box and you close it so that no one, especially the spectator, cannot see it.
You now let the spectator turn around (or take off the blindfold) and tell him that you have shown a prediction to the audience and that the spectator will be able to choose from a number of cards with animal figures on it and that his or her choice will match with the prediction you made. You take a pack of cards and show the cards one by one to your audience and say “You will have a completely free choice from all these cards with pictures of different animals. You can even choose the way you choose one, if you want. you point out one or do I have to move them from top to bottom until you say stop somewhere? “. Then you continue to say “so you can choose this card, or this one, or this third one, it doesn’t matter, your choice is completely free”. Your audience will be laughing out loud because they see that all cards contain the picture of an MONKEY while the spectator on stage thinks they have a free choice from different animals. After the spectator has then chosen a card from the deck, you hand it over to him and he may look at it for himself and hold it against his chest or place it between his hands. You then read his mind .. “I see an animal with a long bodypart on it’s front or back, is that correct?” “Yes,” the spectator replies (because the monkey has a curly tail after all). And I count 1, 2, 3, 4 legs, is that correct? “Yes,” says the spectator. But then – everything you say next is not correct anymore, I see an animal with a brown fur .. “No ..”. And it is not such a big animal .. “Uhm No” says the spectator again. At that moment you look at your stack of cards again and turn them towards the audience to show all images of brown monkeys … and slowly you start to become visibly concerned. “That’s strange!” You say and ask the spectator which animal he has chosen. If the spectator shows his card, this is an ELEPHANT!?!? You look amazed at the audience and they will be just as amazed, oops … but what about your prediction? You now open the box and you take the …. ELEPHANT … out of the box! No MONKEY to be found anywhere! Then you show the box empty (it is really empty!).
A super commercial, useful and entertaining effect!

- The choice of cards is FREE
- Use any box or bag that fits the stuffed animal (or any screen you put the stuffed animal behind)
- Very easy to perform
- Complete with the specially printed cards

BONUS EFFECTS:
If you buy two of these sets you can perform even more fantastic routines (and you have spare cards or can expand your original set to make the choice of the number of cards seem larger):
- You can use two boxes, place an elephant in one and a monkey in the other. Both stuffed toys keep changing places and the children will think that there are two animals in each box which of course is not the case. (You could use the extra set of cards to attach the cards to the box with a magnet, every time you change the cards, the plush toys change along).
- Show a box and place a monkey in it, close the box, make a magical spell and now show the elephant, put it back in the box and repeat this and now it is the monkey again. The kids will say you use two stuffed animals and this turns out to be the case. Now put one of them in another box and continue with the routine above.
You will receive ONE set (one special magic stuffen animal and a set of cards). Order TWO sets to do be able to perform all of the bonus-effects above.
