Dr. Fu Manchu is a supervillian came about in the first half of the 20th century. He is a fictional character created in a series of novels by British author Sax Rohmer. Fu Manchu was extensively featured in cinema television radio and comics for over 90 years and has become an archetype of the evil criminal genius. Fu Manchu’s murderous plots are remembered for the extensive use of arcane methods. He has inspired numerous other characters and is the model for most villains in later “Yellow Peril” thrillers.
