Impossi-Ball (5854)

Based on a Tenyo effect called DRAGON ALTAR, here’s a beautiful wooden variation on this trick.

Routine 1:
You show a platform and place a box on it that is open on four sides. You take a lid and place it on the box. Then you take a Chinese coin and place it on the lid. Then you take a solid wooden ball and place it on the Chinese coin, which stays perfectly in place through the hole in the coin. You then show a solid tube completely empty and place it over the whole setting. After a magical gesture you lift the tube up and guess what, the ball is now INSIDE the box with the lid and the coin still on top.

Routine 2:
You show a platform and place a box on it that is open on four sides. You take a lid and place it on the box. You then show a solid tube completely empty and place it over the whole, you then take a solid wooden ball and let it fall through the hole at the top of the tube. After a magical gesture you lift the tube and guess what, the ball is now INSIDE the box with the lid still on top. You can even use the coin in this routine if you wish, as in the first routine.

And the best part – everything can be examined by your audience, nothing to remove or add during, before or after the routine. Only one ball is used.
