MAG-LEV Tensegrity Model Kit (5977)

Tensegrity at it’s most magical. This art piece uses suspension, tension and magnetism to create a unique optical illusion of a levitating platform. Now available in an easy to build 2-step model kit you too can now experience the wonder of tensegrity and magnetism in your own hands.

Hand-made: Designed by visual artist Anthony Yap, each piece is individually 3D Printed before being hand finished and hand painted with care. Due to the production process and hand work involved each piece is it’s own unique work of art with small variations leaving no two pieces exactly alike.

Platform Holding Capacity: 0g – as standard (Up to 100g if you use the extra magnet included). As standard the magnets are spaced as wide apart as possible to achieve an optimal floating effect. In this standard set-up the Mag-Lev Tensegrity is not intended to carry any extra weight on top of it. However if you would like to increase the magnetic strength to carry approx 100g (a deck of cards), then an extra magnet is included.

Minor assembly required: To reduce shipping costs and product damage these stands are shipped flat packed. Upon receiving your stand simply follow the 2-step instructions to easily assemble your stand.
