For years, Spanish Adrián Carratalá has guarded the secret with which he managed to fool Penn & Teller. Now you too can amaze your audience with this miracle.
Effect
You borrow a ring from the spectator and place it under a cloth and ask the spectator to hold it. Then you pull the cloth away from the hand of the spectator and the ring seems to have disappeared without a trace. Optionally, you hand the spectator a ring box and tell that the ring has appeared in it (as on the video), but after opening it turns out that there is no ring in the box.
You then tell them that something impossible has happened and point to your shoes where the spectator’s ring is on the TIED SHOELACES! You now untie the bow to take the ring off and return it to the spectator.
Important points:
- The magician never goes near the shoe.
- It does not depend on the clothes. Can be presented completely naked (only with shoes, of course).
- The gimmick can be installed in 5 seconds and resets in another 5 seconds.
- The complete system is self-contained and fits in a pocket.
- Duplicate rings are not used. The ring that the spectator holds is her true ring until the end.
- There are no suspicious movements, the hands are empty at all times.
- No reels, threads, or elastics are used. The gimmick is designed for everlasting professional use.
- Each unit has been handcrafted in Spain with great care and supervised one by one by Adrián itself.
- Premium packaging hand signed by Adrián.
- Includes full video instructions
Important: The use of dark shoes or shoes with black laces is recommended.
Inspired by an original idea by Richard Sanders.
