Wow – if you’re looking for a visual effect with an impossible souvenir then you need to incorporate this routine into your act!
Effect:
You let a spectator choose a card and have it signed, then you tear the card into four pieces and clearly show the four separate parts. Then one by one you repair the card piece by piece – but with the torn edges outward instead of inward, so you end up with an impossible souvenir that you can hand over with the spectator’s signature on it.
You read that right (and check the same performance in the video which you can also watch here), you REALLY tear up a card and then restore it piece by piece in an extremely visual way.
You will receive 16 pieces of special gimmicks printed on real playing card stock (i.e. with a linen finish so it looks and feels as a genuine playing card) in different values and a link to an online instructional video. Additional refills are available separately.
If you ask me, it’s a combination between John Lovick’s Reparation effect and Shawn Farquhar’s Torn 2 Pieces, but a good one! – René Geelen
