Mini Illusion (5430)

A fun and visual item that you can display anywhere.

You show a “chest”, a wood-colored frame with one notch in the middle. You also display a massive “knife” and a card depicting Houdini, the escape artist known for his escapes. He always managed to free himself from handcuffs and chains, but he also escaped from chests and vaults and was thus able to apparently penetrate a massive wall.

You now take the solid knife and place it right through the middle of the frame and take the Houdini card. You insert it from one side into the frame until it comes to a stop against the solid knife. Then you make a magical gesture over the whole and now press the photo completely through the solid knife, the card penetrates completely through the knife and is coming out of the frame on the other side. Pull the photo out of the frame (or have a spectator do this) and immediately show that the blade really does block the center of the frame. You now take the knife out of the frame and can, if you wish, hand over ALL parts for examination, there is NOTHING to discover.
