This is the one you saw David Copperfield perform on his television special. A dollar bill is borrowed (David borrowed a hundred, and so can you!). A pencil is enfolded and suspended in the bill, which is held at the fingertips of one hand (as shown). The other hand reaches over and holds the point end. The pencil is then pulled downward, straight through the bill! Simple as that. WOW! Bill and pencil may be examined both before and after the effect! WOW! Misled is really the most innocent solid through solid ever! Both the pencil and bill are ungimmicked. Neither pencil nor bill leaves the audiences sight. No switching of pencil or bill at any time. Misled uses no tape, glue, magnets, wires or threads. No difficult sleights – No funny moves. All actions are slow and deliberate.
