Mr. Up and Mr. Down (5780)

A classis of magic founded by Edwin’s Magic Arts a long time ago!

Children of all ages will thrill to the amazing antics of the two whackiest clowns in existence! Mr. Up and Mr. Down are sparklingly dressed in fluorescent orange, yellow, fuchsia, white and blue. A tremendous flash of colour! The clowns are acrobats and whatever one does the other tries to emulate!

Allez-oop! In the twinkling of an eye, Mr. Up slips over and is now standing on his head! Whatever Mr. Up can do Mr. Down can do better and soon both clowns are upside-down! It’s amazing, amusing and highly confusing. There is some hilarious ‘cod’ business when Mr. Up tries his hand at magic and turns himself invisible (?) The children are not impressed but laughs become gasps of astonishment when Mr. Down repeats the feat and vanishes without trace. Where can he be? You appear not to notice, but your young audience will lose no time in telling you! There he is – popping up and down whilst you are not looking!

A riot of fun and laughter! There is a super, double-barreled, laughter-packed climax, when Mr. Up DISAPPEARS and is discovered in a most unexpected fashion. OH, WHAT A WINNER!

The colours are glorious; fluorescent orange, yellow, magenta, white and blue, all against a black background. Apart from their costumes, the clowns appear identical. Mr. Up wears a pink ruff and orange spotted trousers, whilst Mr. Down’s costume is predominantly blue.

We are sure that you will agree this is one of the greatest kids’ tricks using a single plaque ever conceived! The effect is completely self-contained and can be re-set in seconds.
