A fun trick to always carry with you!
You show five cards with four colored boxes containing different numbers. The spectator may point any one of these cards and that one is put aside.
Then you show four L-shaped strips in the colors of the boxes on each of the cards. The spectators may now place these strips on one of the cards themselves so that the strips together with the box in the same color form a square. The spectators therefore have a completely free choice which cards and thus which numbers they cover and which remain in full view.
When the spectator is done with this, he can add up all the remaining numbers himself and the total adds up for example 151 as you can see in the photos, if you then turn over the first chosen card, it shows the number 151 on the back – a correct prediction!
The trick is completely self-working and contains no multiple-outs. The spectator chooses a card in the beginning and each card contains different numbers on the backs, so the outcome is always different.
