Ring, Rope and Chair (1499)

A ring is threaded onto a rope and the ring held by a spectator who is sitting on a chair. The rope is then also tied around the chair and the spectator and the ends are held by two members of the audience.

At the end, when the magicians wants it to happen, the spectators pull the rope free from the ring, chair and spectator!
