Square Puzzle by Idea Ikeda (0644)

Check this magic trick at our online webshop! Wow – this is in my opinion one of the best close-up / stand-up versions of a magic puzzle. Nothing to steal, nothing to make disappear, follow everything as in the demo video (yes, the demo!) and everything will work automatically!

The basic effect:

You show a wooden box and open it to reveal a puzzle consisting of 3 x 4 exactly the same pieces which exactly fill the frame that is in the box. Now take the frame and all the pieces out (everything can be shown on both sides) and put the puzzle back to find that there is now room for a “double block”. Again you take the puzzle apart, remake it, including the double red block and what appears, again there is a piece of the same size missing. You take this and put it in the puzzle to fill the gap. Then you take the frame again and put it around the puzzle, everything still fits exactly. You now take all the pieces out of the box again, lay the puzzle again and then it turns out that another piece is missing, you take this one to fill a hole for the third time!

This puzzle (the box measures 29 x 29 x 3 cm) is of the highest quality, made of wood and the pieces are provided with magnets so that they stay perfectly in the box and you can hold the box upright to show the puzzle without the pieces falling out. The effect is easy to perform and easy to reset by removing the extra pieces from the puzzle and laying the puzzle again. Includes video instructions with the operation.
