Stone of the Pharaoh (6700)

A fantastic item for any collector, decades ago this was already on the market and a sought-after item until it disappeared from the market – but now it is again available to a limited extent in a beautiful wooden version!

You open a small wooden box to reveal four different colored mummies: orange, red, green and blue. You also show a plateau with two boxes that you can lift away. One to reveal a resting place for one of the mummies, and beneath the other is a mysterious-looking clear crystal. While you are not looking, one of the four mummies is placed in the “grave” by a spectator and covered with a box. The crystal is also still covered. Then you turn back around and ask the spectator to uncover the crystal by taking the lid off the crystal and ask him to focus on the color of the mummy they have chosen. At first nothing happens, but after about fifteen seconds the crystal slowly starts to glow in the color of the chosen mummy! The crystal shines brightly, revealing the hidden mummie, until the color slowly disappears.

This looks great and is basically self-working. In fact, until the crystal starts to glow, you really have no idea which mummy was chosen by the spectator! The ingeniously designed device does it all. There are no external gimmicks to hide. The effect can be repeated immediately.

The story:
A few years ago, during archaeological excavations in Egypt, a pyramid was found with a very strange piece of crystal. As you say this, remove the lid and reveal the crystal; at that moment no one suspects the real function of the stone and its role in the story. After careful examination in a laboratory, it was discovered that the stone was extremely sensitive to light and the four forces of nature: water, earth, air and fire. A thousand years ago, our ancestors made sacrifices to the Gods so that the earth would be fertile, that water and air would be pure, and that fire would provide warmth and light

For example, because they were afraid of fire, they sacrificed a virgin on the altar of the Gods. With this crystal the Gods showed our ancestors whether they liked the sacrifice. I would now like to do this again, but I think it will be difficult to find a virgin as a sacrifice… so we will use these four mummies. The red represents the earth, the blue the sky, the green the water and the orange the fire.

After about 15-20 seconds the crystal will light up in the color of the chosen mummy!!! Thanks to the Gods… but what a pity that your concentration falters, and the color fades until it disappears completely. The magic crystal has changed back to a normal crystal. Maybe this was all just an illusion, a mirage???

The light is bright in color and can be used in normal daylight as you can see in the photos.
