You show a black plexiglass hand and place it on a nice wooden stand and you cover the whole thing with an opaque cloth bag.
You then borrow a ring from a spectator and thread it onto a ribbon. The ring is then placed in a jewellery box and the box closed. The ring is now both attached to the ribbon and trapped in the box. You now hand the whole thing over to a spectator who can grab the ribbon so that no one can reach for the ring and it cannot make it’s escape.
You then ask to choose a finger, and after this is done, you snap your fingers and ask the spectator to open the jewellery box. It turns out… the ring has disappeared without a trace! If you then remove the fabric cover from the hand, the borrowed ring is now on the finger the audience just selected!
And now the best part, if you want, your spectators can examine EVERYTHING. There is no preparation whatsoever because the hand, stand, bag, ring box and the ribbon are unprepared.
The stand measures approx. 35 x 10 x 33 cm (lxwxh) when assembled.
You will receive the complete set (stand, hand, bag, ring box and ribbon) with online video instructions. Use your own ring to practice, it is not included.
